Camp Curiosity FULL DAY SESSION Gr. K to 1

 Why do balloons sometimes sink, and sometimes float? What makes seaweed so slimy? And what, exactly, is oobleck? Join us for three fun-filled days exploring the answers to these questions, and many more! Campers will get a little messy, and dive in to the exciting world of science!

Students registering for both the morning and full day sessions at Erwin Valley Elementary School will be provided with a free lunch provided by USDA Summer Food Service Program – Administered by CPP Area Schools Food Service Department.

Campers will explorephysics with marble mazes, discover chemical reactions with elephant toothpaste, understand theengineering design process while building looming towers, and so much more! From creatingexplosive chemical reactions to exploring how things move with gliders and cars to understandingwhy animals behave the way they do - every day brings something new!

Campers will explore bubbling chemical reactions, colorful momentum investigations, and all kinds of messy experiments in this week dedicated to the exciting world of science. With color changing slime, eye-tricking optical illusions, and paint flying everywhere, it’s sure to be an exciting week!

Students registering for both the morning and full day sessions at Erwin Valley Elementary School will be provided with a free lunch provided by USDA Summer Food Service Program – Administered by CPP Area Schools Food Service Department.

Space Explorers FULL DAY SESSION Gr. 1 to 3

3..2..1.. Blast off into this fun-filled week all about space! Discover different parts of thegalaxy, determine exactly why stars twinkle in the sky, and learn how astronauts train totravel to the moon and beyond! We will build our own model solar system, launch rockets high into the sky, and take advice from NASA as we explore, design, and create! Campers will gain a greater understanding of our solar system by learning about planets, stars, and space travel while using critical thinking skills and working together on exciting, hands-on science activities.
